🛡️ Your Privacy is Our Top Priority Finger Pulse is engineered with a privacy-first architecture. All camera-based pulse detection and biometric measurements are processed entirely on your local device. We never capture, record, store, or transmit your camera feed, photos, or video recordings.

Welcome to Finger Pulse ("we", "our", or "us"). We provide heart rate tracking, photoplethysmography (PPG) pulse analysis, wellness logging, and lifestyle health tools. We are committed to safeguarding your personal data and respecting your privacy rights.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, store, and protect your information when you use the Finger Pulse iOS mobile application (the "App").

2. Information We Collect and Process

2.1 Camera & Optical PPG Sensor Data (Zero Video Storage)

To measure your pulse, the App requests permission to access your device's camera and flash:

Optical Pulse Detection: When you place your fingertip over the camera lens, the App analyzes microvascular color intensity fluctuations (Photoplethysmography / PPG) in real-time.
Strict Local Computation: Camera frames are processed strictly in temporary device memory (RAM) and immediately discarded frame-by-frame.
No Images or Videos: We do NOT take photos, record video clips, capture facial images, or upload any visual media to external servers.

2.2 Health & Wellness Profile Data (Stored Locally)

You may choose to input or generate health and wellness records within the App:

Measurement Logs: Heart rate (BPM), Heart Rate Variability (HRV / RMSSD), estimated Stress Index, and status tags (e.g., Resting, After Workout).
Manual Health Logs: Blood Pressure, Blood Oxygen (SpO2), Daily Hydration intake, and Body Mass Index (BMI) records.
Assessment & Goals: Age, gender, activity level, and wellness goals entered during onboarding or profile editing.

📍 Local-Only Storage: All health metrics, logs, and profile records are stored securely in your device's local sandbox storage (UserDefaults / CoreData). We do not operate remote databases that collect or profile your individual health logs.

2.3 Subscription & Purchase Information

Purchases of VIP subscriptions ("Finger Pulse Pro") are processed directly through Apple's In-App Purchase system (StoreKit). We do not collect or store your payment card numbers, bank account details, or billing addresses. Apple provides us with anonymous receipt tokens to validate your subscription entitlement.

2.4 Anonymous Device & Analytics Data

To ensure app reliability and optimal performance, we may collect non-personally identifiable diagnostic information:

Device model, operating system version (iOS), app version, and language preference.
Anonymous crash reports and performance telemetry.

2.5 Advertising & Tracking Identifiers (AdMob & ATT)

For non-VIP users, the App may display advertisements via Google AdMob:

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, we will only access your Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) if you explicitly grant permission.
If permission is denied, ads will remain non-personalized and will not track your activity across apps.

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA/CPRA in California), you possess the following rights:

Access & Export: You can view all logs in the App and export your comprehensive health reports in PDF format.
Deletion: You can delete individual log entries or reset your profile data directly inside the App settings.
Camera Permission Revocation: You can revoke camera access at any time in iOS Settings > Finger Pulse > Camera.
Tracking Preferences: You can modify ad tracking preferences via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

8. Children's Privacy

Finger Pulse is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take prompt steps to delete such data.
